You have read about, and we have discussed, the difference between the conflict and consensual approaches to the role of law in society. Drawing on the readings, thus far, as well as our discussion in class, in NO MORE THAN ONE PAGE (single-spaced, Times New Roman) tell me:

• which approach you think more accurately explains contemporary American society,

• why you believe this (in other words, outline some examples that support your position), and

• identify at least one existing law that supports your position (explain why this supports your argument).
