MEMORANDUM.

TO: Supervisor Embraer Aerospace Corporation.

FROM: (Student's Name).

DATE: November 12, 2023.

SUBJECT: Framework for implementing Pillars of Digital Leadership.

I’m writing to inform you about a framework I have developed for implementing Pillars of Digital Leadership at Embraer Aerospace Corporation. I believe these pillars will positively transform many employees at the company. There are 7 pillars of digital leadership but I will only focus on 3. The first pillar is communication. Communication is key in the Aerospace and defense industry, especially to the aerospace engineers who work on complex, multidisciplinary, and international projects. All leaders in Embraer Aerospace Corporation should always ensure all employees receive essential information on time through various digital channels. For instance, the company's website, social media platforms, and personal emails. I believe that effective communication will promote digital leadership since leaders can engage all employees and make them feel valued.

The second pillar is branding. Embraer Aerospace Corporation Brands include EMB, ERJ, Legacy, Lineage, LR, Phenom, and Praetor. Leaders in Embraer Aerospace Corporation can leverage social media tools to develop a positive culture. This can be a culture that will help the company attract and retain the most competent and talented aerospace engineers as well as a culture that will continue attracting investors and customers all over the world. The last pillar is opportunity. Leaders in Embraer Aerospace Corporation should be more vigorous in promoting innovation and professional growth of all employees. Considering that Embraer is among the largest producer of civil aircraft and the leading provider of regional jets worldwide, leaders are supposed to leverage the connection made through technology to help the company improve how it manufacture and sell different categories of aircraft. I believe this can also motivate its employees, increase satisfaction, and make them perceive this digital leadership as an opportunity to develop their careers and professions.

Attached is an action plan showing how I hope to implement the above framework.

The Assignment

Using PowerPoint:

· Create a dashboard from the company you selected(attached file name: EmbraerAerospacecorporationMemo)to display  five (5) KPIs related to the digital transformation effort. Be sure to include the 4 components of a KPI, as specified in the video ( https://lms.devry.edu/lms/video/player.html?video=1_fz4l871z)   How to Develop Key Performance Indicators, for each KPI you indicate on your dashboard

Note: Your KPIs will not be the same as shown in the example dashboard below. Every company is different and has various ways to measure success and risks. You may use a line, bar, or pie graph, or a combination thereof to illustrate the status of each indicator. Data incorporated into your dashboard may be fictitious so be creative!

· Propose three (3) potential leadership risks mid-level managers may face as they work through the digital transformation effort. Analyze the impact of each risk and provide a mitigation strategy to address each risk.

Your presentation should be no more than two (2) slides (i.e., one for the dashboard and one for risk and mitigation strategies), excluding the title and references slide. APA citations should be included, as appropriate, to support the mitigation strategy for each risk.

Attached is an example of a  KPI Dashboard Example. and  KPI Template Example
