Journal - Robinson

One of the themes of "Richard Cory" by Robinson is the old saying "the grass is always greener on the other side." The townspeople in the poem want what Richard Cory has and they want to be him. They see what all that he is and they wish for his life. Notice though, this doesn't work out in the end because Richard Cory kills himself.
