History of Digital Art

Based on your reading of chapter 2 and what has been covered in class, describe how the role of the artist has changed with the introduction of digital technology as a medium. Use examples from your book to illustrate the level of involvement different artists have in the creation and distribution of their work. How has this changed since the Modern era? Do you think artists have "authorship" of digital works in the same way Modern artists created their work? Why or why not?
