Using your course text as a foundation, compose a 2 to 3 page paper discussing how the social/emotional development of young children can be promoted through effective design principles. Include reference to at least several aspects of social/emotional development (for example, development of self-control, engagement in cooperative play, sharing or following directions could be addressed). You should also reference theory (see Chapter 1 of your text) and provide specific examples/quotes from the course text.
