What are the differences between a Scanlon Plan and a Rucker Plan? Which do you think would be more beneficial to employees? In general, do you think gainsharing plans are a good idea? Does your answer depend on whether or not a union is present?

Many companies establish and post a code of conduct. “Labor Relations Application: Human Rights for Reebok’s Production Workers” shows example from Reebok. With promises such as fair wages and benefits, no discrimination, freedom of association, the right to collectively bargain, etc., do you think there is still a need for union representation in such a facility? Why or why not?
