1. Select a Health Topic:

   • Choose one health topic area: Foodborne Illness
2. Identify Objectives:
   • Select one specific Healthy People 2030 objective related to your topic.
   • Summarize the objective, including its goal and target population.
3. Community Application:
   • Identify a specific population or community (local, regional, or national).
   • Describe why this objective is relevant to that population.
4. Intervention Plan:
   • Propose one evidence-based health promotion and disease prevention intervention related to your topic.
   • Explain how the intervention addresses the selected objective.
   • Include two considerations related to cultural competence.
5. Evaluation:
   • Describe one measurable outcome that could be used to evaluate the success of your intervention.

Assignment Requirements:

• The post is to be 2–3 pages in length (excluding references and title page; an abstract is not required) 
• Incorporate a minimum of 3 current (published within the last five years) scholarly journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work in addition to the Healthy People 2030 website.
