Educational Essay

 For this essay, I want you to choose an educational situation (or several situations) from your life

and 

analyze

that experience (or those experiences). You may want to examine yourself as a 

learner, or teacher, or both. You may want to look at some period of your formal institutional 

education (elementary, middle, or high school) or some aspect of an institution such as tracking 

or even the physical layout of a classroom or learning environment. Or you may want to examine

a non-institutional situation, such as learning from a family member, one of your friends, or even

someone such as a piano teacher or a Little League coach. You may explore an experience in 

which you were the “teacher” and someone was your student. You have a lot of options, but do 

not write about education in general or in the abstract; use your specific experience and/or 

observation. 4-6 pages double spaced.
