To earn up to 10% back on your second exam, each student can write a one-page essay describing a situation in their lives where they noticed a firm/company/restaurant price discriminating. What was the scenario and company? What is price discrimination? How did the company segment the market and determine different customer's willingness to pay? How did the company prevent resale?
Point will be awarded based on creativity, uniqueness of example, and proper display of the economics behind price discrimination.
