Global Selling Exercise
During the 2021 Global Science Sales Institute (GSSI) Annual (Virtual) Conference. One of the projects that was undertaken for the conference was a series of panel discussions with sales executives from around the world. All of these videos are now available, and fully captioned in English. These videos provide interesting examples of how the profession of sales differs by country and culture.
Assignment: Choose one of the countries and regions (other than the U.S.) that interests you. View the video. Provide a 2-3 page (single spaced) summary/reflection of the video. Specifically address the following:
1. Which video did you watch? What are some of the core principles of selling in this country/culture?
2. How do the selling perspectives and practices in this country/culture differ from those in the United States (draw from your course readings and lectures).
3. What surprised you most about selling in this country/culture? Explain.
