According to the course materials, a large percentage of citizen complaints involve a small percentage of officers. In other words, a few officers generate most of the complaints. It is clearly in the best interest of law enforcement and the community to identify problem officers and institute early and effective intervention strategies. Discuss a process for early identification of problem police and corrections officers and the remediation plans that could be used to reform problem officers’ conduct. Be sure that your discussion incorporates recent and relevant research on these topics, and that your research sources are cited in the correct APA format.
