In this discussion, you will create an outline for your upcoming IP. This will help students organize their ideas and structure information effectively. The outline needs to provide a basic overview and important details about the upcoming project topics, including gathering data to conduct a needs assessment and proposing appropriate intervention strategies with cost analysis.

A needs assessment determines what needs to be accomplished to reach community health goals. In addition, this process helps prioritize health needs, allocate resources, and inform decision making. After that, the needs assessment data must be used to make an action plan and design an intervention program. A cost analysis of an intervention is crucial to determine whether the value and benefit of the intervention justify its cost.

Over the past 3 weeks, you have been working on components of the final assignment. To this point, you have chosen your disease or health condition and have written a status report using the epidemiology triad to describe the disease. Your final assignment is due next week. This week, you will work on an outline for your final assignment to date and post it to the Discussion Board.
