In this discussion, you will consider policies currently in place to protect one of vulnerable populations discussed in the module readings (women, infants, children, older adults). Evaluate the policy for effectiveness, focusing on access, equity, and health. Has the policy served its purpose or caused unintended consequences? How could the policy be improved? What barriers might exist for improving the policy? What are the consequences of not improving the policy?
