Course Objectives:

· Examine Work Breakdown Structure, organization, schedule & budget, tracking performance and reporting variances.

Prompt:

Assume the following project is being prepared for progress review at the end of the third quarter.

According to the budget baseline, all tasks should be completed except Task 8, which should be about 30% complete at this time. The project manager reports, however, that all tasks are finished except the last one, which is about 50 percent complete.

Required: Assuming that actual costs to date total $240,000, compute (formula with the result) and evaluate (in narrative form) the following:

b. BCWS (PV)

c. EV

d. AC

e. CV and CPI

f. SV and SPI

g. ETC and EAC

h. TCI.

· Write a paper of at least 1000 content words, typewritten in double-spaced format (12-point font Times New Roman), page margins Top, Bottom, Left Side and Right Side = 1 inch, including all pages, with reasonable accommodation being made for special situations and online submission variances.

· Show all work (math steps), including formula, result, and your analysis of the result.  (See Appendix B in the text for example formulas.)

· Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines, including a title page, an introduction, and a conclusion. An abstract is not required. Cite in text and include a References section. A template is included in week 1.

· In your report, make certain that you include at least three (3) outside references from scholarly sources
