Part A Critical Thinking

For this discussion, make an initial post (a couple of paragraphs or so) that explains the skill of synthesis, and then elaborate on how you use this skill in your everyday life.  Include an image or attachment in your post to demonstrate how synthesis works or how you have used it. See my initial post for a good example. After you make your discussion post, be prepared to discuss your example and perhaps provide others.

Part B Critical thinking

Introduction The purpose of this exercise is to demonstrate the skill of grouping. Sometimes even seemingly simple grouping tasks require more thought than one might at first believe.

The Assignment For this homework assignment, do the two grouping exercises on the attached document:   GroupingEx.pptx  GroupingEx.pptx - Alternative Formats  (file opens in new window).  You may type  your answers to these grouping exercises in the submission box to submit it as your completed work , or put your answers in the presentation on the blank slides.

Grading Criteria Determine four different ways to group the objects in exercise 1: 50%

Identify four different decision rules by which all images in exercise 2 may be placed into two groups: 50%

1. Paragraph 1: Based on the Love Language Quiz, what is your love language? Were you surprised by the results? Why or Why not?

2. Paragraph 2: Have you noticed any changes in your love language preferences over time? What factors do you think contributed to these changes, and how have they affected your relationships?

3. Paragraph 3: How can partners or friends adapt to evolving love languages in their relationships?
