Criminal Investigation Literature Review

General rules for writing

· Review the instructions posted on Blackboard before submitting your work

· All submissions must be in a Word document

· All text must be in paragraph format

. Times New Roman, 12-point font

. Double spaced

. 1" margins

. First line indent (0.5")

· Keep your writing clear, concise, objective and academic

· Try to keep paragraphs 4-7 sentences

· Use APA format for in-text citations and references

· Each reference must have at least 1 in-text citation

· Each in-text citation source must be listed among references

· Use a page number for in-text citations whenever possible

· Avoid quotes; paraphrase whenever possible

· Consider using the resources available to you at the college to help you to edit your work

Literature Review

Using the format provided in the Writing Guidelines, provide a literature review of at least 10 sources related to your topic.

Please use the same sources you did for the topic sources assignment.

Review the comments for your submission for your topic and references. (I already did this)

Provide edited introductory paragraph:

· Use first-line indent, left margin for all paragraphs

· Provide 1-2 paragraphs for each source.

· Try to keep paragraphs 4-7 sentences.

· Keep your writing clear, concise, objective and academic.

References:

· Separate page (use page break)

· Use heading of  References

· Provide edited and corrected list of minimum 10 academic sources in APA format

· References must be in alphabetical order by last name of first author

· Use hanging format, left margin
