Creative Non-Fiction Assignment

Creative Non-fiction is a broad field of writing reliant upon two major elements:

The material must be true

It must be in a style designed to make reading entertaining/enjoyable.

For our purposes, we will consider memoir, opinion pieces, essays, and reviews as viable forms of creative non-fiction.

It will be your responsibility to select a form and topic for this assignment and submit it to me for approval.

Once approved, you will write the actual piece.

This should be a complete work between 2 and 5 pages long (double spaced) or an equal length excerpt of memoir that stands on its own.
