1. talk about your themes.If you have multiple themes, you can have have them in separate paragraphs

2. Have one page per story/poem/novel. Use some pics, images along with 1-2 paragraphs of writing which tells me how your theme works in that writing. 

3. You need 3 stories, 3 poems, and your commentary on the novel  Things Fall Apart. 

4.   Can choose a universal theme or an individual theme for each section. 

Short Story:

- pick theme (ex: setting, characters, comedy, irony, etc.)

- select 3 short stories that have the theme

- write 1-2 paragraphs per story (3 stories) describing how that theme works in that story….(NO SUMMARIES PLEASE)

-  introductory paragraphs (Explaining the theme) 

Poems:

- pick a theme (for example: romance, word choice, setting, etc.) 

- select 3 poems that have the theme

- introductory paragraphs (Explaining the theme) 

Novel (Things Fall Apart):

 - pick a theme (1 aspect)  

-   1 or 1 1/2 pages explaining aspect  

RUBRIC:

  

Writing, Grammar, Explanation of theme- 7.5 points

Creativity (use of pictures, visuals that reflect the theme)- 7.5 points
