Buyer Behavior Decision Exercise

Please address these questions in a short analysis of your own consumer behavior. Your analysis should be no more than 1 and a half pages double spaced. 

1. Think of a recent major purchase. Using the buyer decision process discuss the steps you went through to make your decision - consider both the manufacturer and the retailer/outlet.
2. What information sources did you utilize to make your decision?

 3. What source of information was the most influential in your decision making?

 4. What has the company that you bought your purchase from done, if anything, to reduce your cognitive dissonance? If not, what could they have done?

 5. Based on your experience, what would you recommend that they do to better inform and influence buyers?
