 Assignment #1 – Chapters 1 & 2 Three common strategies for trying to destabilize multicultural education and finding solutions to those arguments. In Chapter 1 in Task #6 on page 21 you will read about how, “Three common strategies for trying to destabilize multicultural education include (1) calls for going back to basics, (2) claims of erosion of the educational canon, and (3) political struggles of legislation and policy. After you have read all three strategies find 5 arguments from any of the strategies to focus on. In Chapter 2 find solutions or counterarguments to the arguments against multicultural education.
