It is often said that cancer is caused by mutations affecting 3 types of genes: proto-oncogenes, tumor suppressor genes and/or genome stability genes. Is mutation the only way in which gene expression (protein production) can be altered to lead to cancer? Justify your answer with examples and evidence to support your conclusion. can anyone help
