Part II: Write a one to two-page typed (double-spaced, 1” margin; 11 point) summary of the information provided in the research article that you have chosen. Please refer to the Rubric. Research studies have an abstract, an introduction, or several paragraphs at the beginning of the article describing the study followed by a Methods/Methodology section which tells who the subjects were and how the study was conducted. This is then followed by a Results section (this section will have graphics including charts and graphs with data). The article will end with a Conclusion. Summarize the various sections of the research study: Introduction; Methods/Methodology, Results (make sure you address the data found in this section) and Conclusion. In your summary, demonstrate an understanding of what the researchers set out to find, whether they were successful, as well as the contribution the study makes to the knowledge of this microbiology topic. How does this research article contribute to the knowledge about your selected microbiology topic? (Think about the intended audience and who will the read the article) Provide a citation for your article at the bottom of your summary page using APA format. Please carefully review the Grading Rubric as you complete the paper.
