Bid
Assume you are bidding a large project with a client you have completed many successful project with in the past. The bid is open to all contractors licensed in the state the project is to be built. After many weeks of preparation the final bids are due today at 2:00pm. At 9:00am in the morning, a trusted subcontractor calls you and asks if you are still bidding the job. They explain that a competitor of yours is telling all the subcontractors that you have dropped out of the bid and not to waste their time sending their quotes to you. What would you do in this situation?
