Assignment: Redemptive Suffering Essay

 Directions

Throughout this course, you have participated in the live practice of reflective and empathetic listening related to key topics. In a reflective paper, write a 4–5-page redemptive suffering essay in which you discuss the way in which God uses suffering for his redemptive purposes. In addition, reflect on the role of Active Listening and pastoral care in the process of helping people experience divine healing amid or after their suffering.

This assignment should be something I’m speaking to and understand from the course. Always know that “I” is the one speaking.
