Intervention #1 – Spelling You are providing Tier III interventions for the student you’ve selected for your case study.

Day One – Using the Recording and Analyzing Spelling handout (in Appendix A and copied into Canvas), administer Informal Spelling Inventory One Sets 1-5 in the C.53 appendix of your textbook and analyze the results. Using the spelling intervention strategies in your textbook that are appropriate to the age/grade level of your student, determine your intervention strategy based on the results of the assessment. Use one strategy with your student. Day Two – Conduct a 30-minute intervention with your student Day Three – Conduct a short intervention with your student. Administer the Informal Spelling Inventory Two Sets 1-5 in the C.53 appendix of your textbook and analyze the results to determine effectiveness of your interventions.

Write a report on the intervention experience. See Appendix B for the report template.
