 Read the article “Ashland University Takes Steps to Deal With Budget Deficit” located in the Reading and Resources area of the course. In a two- to three-page paper, identify three major causes for Ashland University's operating budget deficit. Can those same causes still exist today? What strategies might be employed to significantly deter such causes in the future? Are certain causes inevitable and assured and, if so, should they be built into the budget during the initial planning process?
