Referring to computer architecture, you are to write an assignment on the “Structure of the Pentium Microprocessor”.

Among other issues, you should provide a complete explanation regarding the following issues;

1.            Concepts of Computer Architecture.

2.            Branch Prediction.

3.            System Architecture.

4.            Rapid Execution Module.

5.            Memory Subsystem.

6.            Hyper-threading Technology.

7.            RISC and CISC Convergence, Advantages of RISC, Design Issues of RISC Processors.

Diagrams and examples should be provided for each of the above 7 different issues to further show your understanding of these issues.

The assignment is between 7 to 10 pages and should be written in accordance with the specifications given by the instructor, APA style (see www.apa.org).
