Create a 15- to 20-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation discussing the nutritional needs during a person's different life stages (pregnancy, infancy/lactation, childhood, adolescence, adulthood-younger and older adult).  Include the following in your presentation:

  • Define nutrient (key nutrients needed at each stage), energy, and fluidneeds during each life stage.
  • Discuss why these nutrients are of special concern during each life stage.
  • Identify physical activity recommendations during each life stage.
  • In addition to the above, also discuss the following topics for the specified stages of life:
    • Pregnancy - weight gain recommendations
    • Infancy- benefits of breastfeeding and growth rate
    • Childhood - helping kids develop healthy eating habits and bodies-how can you combat the picky eater
    • Adolescence - nutritional issues seen during this stage
    • Adulthood - aging and factors that affect it

In addition to the slides for the body of the presentation, you also need to have a title slide, an introduction slide, a conclusion slide and a reference slide.

Include detailed speaker notes that discuss the bullet points of each slide.  Remember, the speaker notes are your presentation.

Include a reference slide with citations in APA format.  In addition to the textbook, at least 2 peer-reviewed articles need to be used to support the discussion.
