Assignment

As you conclude a course, take the time to consider your opportunities and the professional path you might follow in the fields of public health and health education. You will use your journal entries to examine and reflect upon the insights you have gained into the diverse workforce, programs, services, challenges, and opportunities for these fields.

Write a 3- to 5-page paper that includes the following: 

• An overview of the insights you have gained about the fields of public health or health education
• An overview of the insights you have gained about yourself as a scholar and as a current or future public health or health education professional
• A brief critical analysis of whether the insights you have gained have helped you refine your professional goals and expectations 
• A description of one assignment or discussion that you particularly enjoyed and an explanation of why you enjoyed it
• A description of one assignment or discussion from this course you found challenging and an explanation of why you found it challenging
• An explanation of how you plan to translate the insights you have gained in this course into action toward your professional goals and into being a social change agent
