Assignment

Read Chapter 7: The Civil War, 1863–1865 (link is below). You can refer back to Chapters 1-6.

For this assignment, you will choose one of the main concepts discussed in this course. You will be creating and submitting an outline. Next week, you will complete an article review. Then, compile all of your research into a course project.

Research the following topics:

 Examine the innovations and technological advances directly related to the U.S. military.

 Evaluate differences in the U.S. military during times of peace and war.

For this assignment, you will be creating a two-page outline.  It is suggested, though not required, that you include potential sources.
