In recent years, the trade between the United States and China has increased significantly.  Also, the United States has incurred significant debt held by China.  What is the most current U.S debt level held by China?  What factors contributed to this increase in debt over the last ten years? Of what significance is this debt level, in terms of the credit worthiness of the United States?  Does this debt level have any effects upon the value of the dollar in the world markets?
