Part I: Construction Cost Management (45%)

1. Using the information provided in Week 11, Resources, and Lecture 11-Part 5 (Square foot and Assembly Estimation video. See chart on slide within the first 4 minutes), using the chart, and square feet costs shown by building type, perform a square foot estimate to find the cost of a 150,000 S.F. college dormitory.  (10%) (show calculation)
2. If the cost you estimated in question 1 is for a college dormitory at Clemson University in 2016, what would be the cost of a similar building at Auburn University in 2016? (15%) (show calculation)
3. What is the difference between “construction cost estimating” and “construction cost control”? Be specific (from lecture). (10%)

Part II: Construction Time Management (55%)

1. Identify which definition is for "planning" and which is for "scheduling".  (10%)
