Archetypal Characters

ESSAY #2 Due: April 1 st

The use of Archetypal Characters gives a literary work a universal acceptance;

readers can identify with the characters in their own social and cultural context.

Interestingly, Decades, centuries, times change; governments, societies also change,

yet human nature remains the same.

Select a character from one of our plays and a contemporary character of your

choice that shows the same Archetypal qualities. Reference both our play and

the source of your character.

WRITING ASSIGNMENTS: Each essay needs to be 3-4 pages; double spaced

using 12 font. Essay #3 is a Research requirement, which will follow the MLA

style. Additionally, a minimum of three sources will be used; one of which will

be a book.
