Analyzing Sources
Using one source from your own research, analyze the argument’s structure, examining the claim(s), type of claim(s), reasoning, and evidence used to support the claim(s).
•Either, write a brief explanation of your analysis or create an organizer to show your analysis.
•Then, using the knowledge you’ve acquired thus far in your research and synthesis, write a brief one-paragraph argument about your topic/issue stating a claim of truth, policy, or value, and using either inductive or deductive reasoning to support your claim. Be sure to note the type of claim and reasoning you use in your writing on your paper.
