1. The initial texts we read in class presented writers’ religious faith as complete and unquestioning. Anne Bradstreet, however, is a bit different, as she struggled with a variety of inner conflicts: Christianity and her connection with it being perhaps the foremost. In a clear, well-constructed and essay (2 pages), analyze Anne Bradstreet’s inner conflict as expressed in her poetry. Be certain to meet the basic standards of composition as well as to use textural evidence to support your response.
