How effective is international law? Research a case that has been brought to the International Court of Justice or the International Criminal Court in the past 10 years from their websites.

Write a two page, double-spaced analysis of the case that includes a basic summary. Use the cases you examine to give your opinion on how effective you think international law is. You should address the following questions:

What is the current status of the case?  What do you think contributes to this?

 If there has been a decision, what were the results of the case and how were they received by those involved? Were the rulings honored by the participating parties?
