Integrated Pest Management (IPM) uses many forms of control to minimize the damage that pests (bacteria, insects, rats, weeds...) can do. These pests reduce the quality and the quantity of food or fibers which drive up prices and waste our resources.

IPM does include the use of chemical controls (pesticides) but encourages the use of other controls to minimize the usage of these chemicals.

Find an article online about controlling pests (insects, bacteria, fungus, or weeds....) WITHOUT the use of chemicals. Please describe the pest problem and how your control works.
