Please answer these two questions based on the readings, 250 words min on each questions- 

1.  Adults who had a bad experience in school as children often are not interested or willing to participate in school events with their children. By what means would you communicate and what would you say to parents who do not want to be involved in their child’s education? What theories and philosophies would you cite to help the parent see the value in their involvement? 

2.  In Proverbs 22:6 (New International Version), it says, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Provide three suggestions of how families and the community can support the early development of young children. Share an experience that supports this verse.
