As students respond to citizen requests, they must make decisions that benefit the community and manage county resources responsibly.  Students must analyze and select good requests in order to keep the community running smoothly. When crisis strikes, students must act quickly and sensibly. The objective of Counties Work is to show students how counties are run and their role as active county members, while promoting cost-benefit analysis skills.
