Week 10 Discussion

Part 1:

Your agility skill is an essential part of being successful in our ever-changing world. Employers are looking for job candidates who are able to adapt to evolving technologies and practices and are willing to embrace those changes.

Imagine you have just learned a new and more effective way to complete a task at home or work. Now, you must teach this technique to a friend or coworker, but that person is resistant to learning a new way of doing things. Explain how you would convince them to practice agility and embrace this new, more effective method.

Remember to answer each part of the question in 2 paragraphs. Each paragraph should be 5-7 sentences with limited grammatical errors (total 10-14 sentences). Also, respond to at least 1 of your peers (at least 1-2 sentences).

Flexibility and agility is absolutely key for me to succeed in my field of choice. If I were to speak to a fellow peer about the importance of agility, I would start by listing just how much has changed even in the last 20 years. To be in technology, adaption and growth are the most essential parts of the job. Technology is every changing and having the ability to constantly grow and adapt with technology is the only way to survive.

Agility is what I have prided myself on most when learning more and more about technology. I have been interested in computers and technology since I was a little kid. And I have always been super interested in the intricacies of the inner workings of technology. I have been fortunate to have my grandfather work for IBM his entire life. I look forward to follow in his foot steps.
