There are 3 sections of this assignment.

1. Write a paper on 2 careers of your choice.

2. Do some formatting on the same paper. (steps 1-17)

3. Submit the Final paper in APA Format for grading.

Instruction: how to proceed…….

Create a 2 pages Word document after reviewing the video. (All the video Tutorials are available as you proceed step by step)

· Introduction: A brief description of 2 careers, one is your major and the second one in the Technology field.

· Body of the paper: Describe each career in detail including salary, education level or certification needed, and duties. 

· Next paragraph: write on any ethical issues on your chosen careers. Relate those issues to the emerging Technologies. Support your opinion by citing facts.

· Apply APA format to the document. Review APA style reference at  https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/general_format.html

· Conclusion

· Reference page at the end ( it can be bibliography or reference page or work cited)

 

After you complete the paper, do some formatting on the same paper…….Step1-17

You have all the video tutorials in Assignment 2 and Assignment 3 section.

1. Add a link relevant to your topic in appropriate place in your document

2. Show your tab marks

3. Set up document pages with margins of 1.25 top and bottom

4. Add headers and footers

5. Add a watermark

6. Change font to Times new Roman 12

7. Insert page numbers, start page numbering on second page (1st page should be formatted as a Title page)

8. Add/Create a multilevel bulleted list

9. Add a picture relevant to the topic and wrap text around Picture

10. Insert footnotes

11. Insert endnotes

12. Create bibliography/Create citations for your sources and Insert it to the end of your document

13. Insert a table relevant to your topic

14. Insert a cover page (Title Page with you as the Author, your Topic, your instructor, your College)

15. Add a Word Art

16. Add an artistic Effect to a picture

17. Add an Icon

After you make all the necessary formatting (step1-17) on your Word Assignment, make sure your final paper includes the following according to APA format......

· Title page (step 14)

· Table of Contents (step 13)

· Introduction

· Body of paper with sources credited parenthetically

· Conclusion

· References page (step 12 it can be bibliography or reference page or work cited)

 Try to keep total work within 4/5 pages (1. Title page, then your paper 2 pages, then last one Reference page), should be double spaced, should include all the formatting (step1-17), save the file, close it and submit this final document under MS Word 219 For Grading.
