What is the rate of decrease

What is the rate of decrease for BAC per hour? Then, how many hours it takes for the person to be sober

2.) How long (many hours) will it take the person to be completely sober?

3.) What assumptions were made when creating the model? (The book says examples of assumptions can be age, gender, number of drinks, etc)

I hope that by me breaking this down to exactly what we need to do helps everyone out and makes it easier since it is due today (in her email she said tomorrow, but Moodle says Saturday at 11:55pm) Below this, I will work out a few of the problems. If anyone thinks something I typed up above was incorrect, please add it in the discussion!

1.)   The rate of decrease for blood alcohol content per hour I found is between .015 and .020 for the average person. For this project let’s use .020 so we all are using the same n

Hour (X)

BAC (Y)

2.)   It will take the person 4 hours to be completely sober

The equation we will need for this problem is y=mx+b (dependant variable=initial value + (rate of change * independent variable)

*I believe my numbers are correct, but cannot decide if the Y value should be negative because this is an exponential decrease. If someone could check my work, that would be great*
