Review the text for this week (Chapter Two) on Promoting Health Education in a Multicultural Society and Nat'l Center for Cultural Competence - Choosing & Adapting Culturally Competent HP Materials  (NCC) document. (see attachments)

· Then, select one health promotion method/tool that your colleague highlighted in their PPT presentation. (this could be a fact sheet, PSA, press release, etc...) and save and attach a screen shot to your primary DB post.

· Goal of this DB: You will review the selected method and describe how it could be improved following some of the guidelines outlined in Ch. 2 and the NCC document: 

1. Using the text sections located on pps. 37-40 (Use Inclusive Language; Understand the Focus Population Culture; Infuse Cultural Issues into Facilitation & Choose Materials Wisely)

-Identify and describe two ways to ensure the selected health promotion method/tool could be improved and why

OR

-If YOU used this method/tool, how you could effectively infuse cultural issues while teaching to a target audience?

2. Next, using the NCC document, see the section titled:  Steps for Choosing or Adapting Culturally and Linguistically Competent Health Promotion Materials, closely look at the subsections:

. Develop and implement a plan for dissemination
