Autism Spectrum in Children

The aspect of autism in children has been a medical conditional that has not been able to receive the much needed research. This means that extensive research has not been conducted with this disorder with the aim of ensuring that the needed preventive measures are put into place. Despite the derailed research on this disorder there are a number of conclusions that have been reached on based on the research that has been carried out on this disease. For instance it is evident that conclusions from research show that the disease is mainly causes by a number of genetic and environmental factors, also it is evident that there exist a number of risk factors that increase the chance of a child to suffer from this order. From this it is evident that the research question in this case was focusing on the need to try and establish the causes of autism, this would help in trying to understand this particular disorder. Therefore the research question in this case was: what are the main causes of autism and how can one fully come to understand this order? (Howlin, 2006).

The research question in this case can be described as being a qualitative research question. There are a number of reasons that can make the research question to be described as a qualitative research. To start with, the research question focuses on trying to understand the causes of autism in children. Moreover, the research question also aims at trying to have a better understanding on the problem of autism. Furthermore, the research question also tries to focus on children suffering from autism and thus it aims at diving deeper into the aspect of autism and how this problem can be dealt with in young children (Manning-Courtney, Murray, Currans, Johnson, H., Bing, Kroeger-Geoppinger, & Messerschmidt, 2013).

There are a number of reasons that support the need to investigate on the research question. To start with, only a few studies have been conducted on this particular disorder. This means that enough has not been done to fully describe this particular disease. Researching on this question can help in the development of therapies that can be used as management approaches of this disease. It is also clear that researching on the disorder can also help in the identification of the various symptoms common on people suffering from this disorder. Additionally, looking at the research question at an in depth-analysis can help one to be in a better position of interpreting the body language of children suffering from autism. This can help people understand such children and thus find it easy when it comes to helping them manage the disorder in the best way possible. It is evident that there is no single treatment of the disorder; this means that conducting an extensive research on the research question will help in the development of treatment packages for the various children suffering from this disorder.

The inquiry in this case is original; this can be seen by the fact that the research question focuses on trying to learn more about the aspect of autism and the possible approaches to the management of the disorder. Additionally, it is evident that the enquiry has been able to identify that research has previously been conducted on this disorder, however, it is crystal clear that the research which was conducted previously did not give an in depth-conclusion on the disorder and therefore the need to conduct a research that will look into this issue at an in depth analysis (Amaral, Geschwind, & Dawson, 2011).
