Week 2 feedback given
Thanks for providing the ERD. The overall visualization and presentation of the Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) needs to be reevaluated and resubmitted. Following is some additional feedback in relation to the submitted ERD. I have provided additional feedback on your ERD via email. The recommended changes will help in the completion and facilitation of the requirements during future weeks of the class.
· Based on the information provided, please evaluate and review which items/topics should be included as Tables.
· Please evaluate and review which items/topics should be included as attributes in each Table. Please assign a Primary Key to at minimum one attribute for each Table
· Please assign only one Primary Key to each table.
· Please provide linkage between various Primary Keys in each Table
Week 3 feedback
Thanks for the submission of week III's written assignment, "The Normalization Process: Converting the ERD". I appreciate your efforts to incorporate key elements of the assignment in your work although detailed information has not been provided regarding all key requirements. Please review my observations and feedback in reference to those areas provided under the various evaluation criteria's via the attached rubrics.
Following elements have not been provided at a satisfactory level:
• Provide more information about the purpose of the normalization process including a description for each of the five normal forms (1NF, 2NF, 3NF, 4NF, and 5NF) along with examples
• Provide more information about translating the ERD model into 3NF
• Provide detailed explanation on how each table in your ERD meets 1NF, 2NF, and 3NF standards
For purposes of learning, I have attached a sample paper for review which provides details of the required assignment elements. Please do not hesitate to contact me in case of questions and concerns.
Week 4 feedback
Thanks for the submission of IV's assignment, "Creating a Database in the Structured Query Language (SQL) Server". Thanks for creating all entities with appropriate attributes, selecting appropriate data types for all fields and building the ERD using the SQL Server Diagramming tool within the SQL server database.
Good job in accessing virtual Structured Query Language (SQL) server, creating a database and translating the normalized ERD from Week Three assignment into the SQL server entities. Let me know if I can help.
