Organizations define their strategic goals and planning through informed decisions. Information plays a crucial role in the success of the organization. This information ought to be specific for every particular field. Strategic planning needs information about future trends of customer orientation along with political, legal, economic, technological and legal consideration. Similarly, the changing customer orientation impacts the decision of marketing strategy and timely information is required to make such decisions. The overall process of information gathering is very extensive. Research is conducted for gathering the required information. Few characteristics of these information-gathering research include time-constraint, effectiveness, efficiency and cost incurred on it. The research design is determined based on these factors. For this particular case, research is done to learn about employee satisfaction at the workplace. The research design includes gathering data through primary sources and the most effective technique is through a survey. This survey includes ten questions. These questions are created with the focus to check the perception of employees about their current work environment and whether or not they are satisfied with current jobs. Job satisfaction is connected with tangible and intangible factors including that whether or not employees are able to find any purpose in their work and also do they find the work of their organization meaningful. The rationale behind, such questions is to learn whether or not employees connect with the vision of their organization and find it inspirational because employee motivation is highly connected to it. In short, all the questions about work-life balance, work environment, the purpose of organization, development and growth are asked to learn that which factor is lacking in employee's life which needs to be improved because only through learning about employees beliefs, there can be corrective measures which could result in employee motivation eventually leading to employee productivity and better performance (Steven, 2019).

For this research paper, the data will be collected through employees directly, they will be provided with surveys and brief about it. The survey will be conducted anonymously so that employees are motivated to provide their actual opinions without the fear of being judged. The data will be analyzed through research analysis tools as a Likert scale is used for this research survey. One challenge faced during the formulation of this survey was the inclusion of questions. There are too many dimensions of learning about employee satisfaction. For example, one dimension could have been the timing another the office layout, Furthermore, the benefits and incentive and the list goes on. But for this survey, an integrated approach is used to learn about employee satisfaction form all dimensions (Bhat, 2018).
