Hello Monica. I would say that the idea you’ve presented is very interesting since it challenges what I believe as the key to living a healthy life. According to the source which you’ve used, eating fewer calories is proposed as the key to living a longer and a healthier life (Britt, 2008). This challenges my belief since I am for the thought that to be able to participate in physical fitness activities; which require a lot of energy, one need to consume the right calories quantities. However, I would agree that the approach you have presented can work better for persons who need to reduce their body mass and body fat.

Hi Christina. I agree with your discussion since I have encountered some of the body changes where due to irregular schedules I have lost sleep and had to schedule another time to sleep. However, I am usually less active and energetic during such days. One of the new knowledge gotten from your discussion is that the body actually burns a lot of calories during rest due to brain activity, breathing, and circulation (Zitting, et al. 2018). I also support your argument that the metabolisms of people vary and thus the rate at which the calories are burnt is dependent on the time and the person’s daily schedule.

Hello Robert. Your discussion provides new insight into the experiments being performed by doctors in their attempt to treat Parkinson’s disease. However, you have not shared your thoughts about the research. None the less, your discussion presents the method which is being used by the doctors to conduct the study. It is evident that the possibility to use the method of injecting the stem cells to the brain is dependent on the success of the approach on the first test subject (Rettner, 2018). My opinion is that if the pluripotent stem cells will be able to restore the functionality of the dopamine cells, this will be a big breakthrough in the treatment for Parkinson’s disease.
