Comments

Good effort responding to the first question, Paula! The company name was explained but also clarify why it is a good name for the company. The company name is your brand and should be unique and easily remembered. It is very important to describe all sources of your revenue (what you sell and any variations) and what makes you unique. Clarity is key here. You must be convincing! If investors are unclear about your business, they will be less likely to invest. The mission statement needs revising as it is too long. Be sure to review the feedback under your Week 1 discussion. Your mission should be a clear and coherent statement about what you do, how you stand out, and how you plan to do business. The mission statement will impact the strategy the company develops to achieve the goals. When performance is measured, we need to refer back to the mission to ensure we are aligned with it. A compelling mission statement contributes to a unique and recognizable brand identity, setting the organization apart from competitors.

Supporting the answer more robustly, I think it would have clarified why the chosen strategic position is the best fit for your company. Describe in more detail the implementation process and how the company can differentiate itself from the competitors identified by using this strategic position. The strategic position allows the company to establish a position in the market and clarify how you will compete or what sets you apart from other companies. To determine the best strategic position, evaluate your strengths, interests, and what differentiates you from the competition. A clear strategic position influences every aspect of your business, such as developing new products, marketing approaches, operations, and location. Your strategic position can evolve over time. When opportunities in the market are found, the company will always have to identify a strategic position to distinguish its company from others.
