Collaborative technology
Collaborative technologies are basically tools that help in networking organizations. It is noted that typical business organizations are made up of different stakeholders that need to work together to achieve various goals and objectives (Manzoor, 2010). To make this happen, they need technology to create a strong network. Depending on the needs of the company, different collaborative technologies are put in place to make sure the best results are achieved. In this case, the need of the company involves enhancing internal facing business experience for the interest of facilitating business. In other words, the project looks forward to creating a stronger bond between the internal stakeholders of the organization.
Recommended collaborative technology
Communication techniques
The first recommended collaborative technology is communication. In the simplest form possible, technology refers to the exchanging of information and messages between different parties. The best software to be used in this case is Lotus Notes; this will enable the company's internal stakeholders to keep in touch to make sure they achieve what has been assigned to them. With respect to the project, one of the ways through which communication will be achieved is through e-mails. For instance, different departmental heads will use electronic mails to send different messages to the employees under their departments to let them know of different developments in the business. With such form of communication, everybody will be updated thereby being able to move in the same direction to enhance the business.
Communication can also be achieved through voice mails. In other words, voice messages can be sent to the internal stakeholders of an organization to inform them of what they need to know. Communication is one of the most important collaboration techniques because this is what actually enables individuals to collaborate. It puts them in the right position to share messages and information which is related to what should be achieved within a given timeline. It is the responsibility of the organization to invest in effective communication tools to make sure the communication is also effective. This is important because it will significantly boost the performance of the business both internally and externally.
Conferencing techniques
Conferencing is also recommended as one of the collaboration techniques. One of the most prominent features is video conferencing. This basically involves communicating through video in real time. On the relevant stakeholders are incorporated into the video conferencing so that they can communicate as if they are with each other even if they are miles apart. Video conferencing enables them to effectively collaborate because it brings them together (Manzoor, 2012). For instance, in the case of employees within a business organization, the employees do not have to leave their offices for them to attend the conference. Each employee can conveniently join the conference from wherever they are. This enables them to easily make presentations that can be seen by others. It also provides an opportunity for instant feedback for the interest of clarification so that everything is clearly understood. Using both communication and conferencing tools the business can be effectively enhanced so that it performs as expected.
Ecommerce techniques
Mobile Commerce
One of the ecommerce techniques to be used in the project is mobile commerce. In other words, this is a technique that largely relies on smartphones. Different apps are installed to make sure they enable the employees to achieve what has been assigned to them. Through mobile commerce, the internal stakeholders of an organization are able to effectively stick together and work as one team. This increases the chances of enhancing the business because they closely interact with one another thereby being able to share information effectively. By installing the relevant apps, mobile phones play a significant role in enhancing the business.
The major reason as to why this selection was made is because it is cheaper to afford, and access smartphones as compared to other technologies. In the modern world, smartphones are among the most owned gadgets by many individuals. This implies that by using mobile commerce a business will be in the right direction with respect to ensuring that it enhances its operations (Laudon & Traver, 2016). Smartphones are also easier to use, and this implies that it will not be necessary for the users to be further trained on how to handle them.
