In the past, many organizations focused on such aspects as goals or efficiency in production to keep businesses profitable. In today’s society, for businesses to remain sustainable must maintain a competitive advantage either by location, or innovation in the marketplace to mention a few (Kumar, & Sethi, 2016). This new Cosmetics Division of Biotech may have to consider the cost to acquire the real estate; ease of distribution of products to consumers not to mention access to affordable but knowledgeable labour. It is important to consider these factors because starting business operations in new locations requires thorough research to understand political and socio-economic aspects. The company’s current mission to develop products that are safe, safe, effective and equally important natural with the customer’s health, seem to have the right team in place.

India is the best country to start the business for various reasons. With the administration of India intervention, the ease of doing business in the country has increased. Incentives to foreign direct investment have lowered economical operational costs significantly. The cost of labour and transportation, for example, is lower in the country. Additionally, transportation of products to consumers is easy due to lowered cost of the basic amenities. Annual base salaries in India are significantly lower than China, thus starting the business in India would promote cost competitiveness in the region and worldwide (Gaur, & Jasmin, 2017). In most cases labour costs contribute to decisions around foreign investments. India economy is expected to grow in the next few years hence starting the Cosmetics Division of Biotech would tap the future market. Transportation of manufacturing products to the plants to the plants is another important factor to consider. Ease of transportation and logistics makes the country the best place to start the business because it will help make it competitive by lowering warehousing costs.
